Do you enjoy people?  Do you enjoy quality clothing?  Do you enjoy investing in your community?

We NEED volunteers!  Our mission can only be accomplished with the commitment of dedicated, caring individuals who grasp the heart of our vision…”it’s not about the clothes, it is about affirming the treasure in every woman who graces our doors!”  At Treasure House Fashions, we often feel like fairy godmothers – we wave a wand, change the outward appearance, and release the treasure within.  Won’t you join us for a little magic?  Become one of our treasured volunteers!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Sharing our mission and familiarizing customers with our shop
  • Assisting customers in their selection of merchandise
  • Processing and steaming merchandise
  • Stocking and maintaining racks
  • Cleaning display cases and racks
  • Arranging clothing displays

New volunteers are mentored by seasoned volunteers and also review our Volunteer Orientation Manual.  We ask that volunteers sign a Heartfelt Pledge making a commitment for one calendar year following hours that fit individual schedules.  We ask that volunteers keep scheduled commitments so we can effectively manage the store.

Be a “personal shopper” – Through grant funding, we also have a unique volunteer opportunities with our Sponsored GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT (GNO).  Agency women come to our shop in small groups – we provide a gift certificate for clothes shopping (redeemed at HALF OFF – so they get double the merchandise), refreshments to enjoy, and “personal shoppers” to gently assist in their merchandise selections.  Would YOU volunteer to be that “personal shopper”?  Contact sally@thfashions.org  for more information and for the current schedule of these GNO opportunities.

Additional volunteer opportunities include volunteer coordination, publicity and media promotions, fundraising, and grant writing.  If you have special talents that you think would enhance our mission, please contact us to explore the possibilities.

In addition to our regular volunteers, we also have high school and college students who volunteer for special projects and service clubs.  We greatly appreciate the extra hands and their boundless energy!
